Text Box: As well as our term-time schools-based activities, we run an active programme of events for young people between the ages of 11 and 18 from Easter until the end of September. All those taking part must be confident on, in and around the water. Although outdoor activities sometimes require a degree of physical fitness, we are able to cater for all abilities. If you have any doubt concerning your ability, please telephone the Centre for advice on 020 8310 2452. All of our sessions are under the direction of suitably qualified instructors. Projects and courses During the Easter holidays we run 4 day sailing and kayaking courses from 10.15am until 4.30pm. The cost is £35.00 per person and the dates are April 13th to April 16th, 2010. During the Whitsun half-term and summer holidays we run open youth projects from 10.15am until 4.30pm. Each project day is split into 3 sessions: 10.30am - 12.00noon; 1.00pm - 2.30pm; 3.00pm - 4.30pm. All sessions are suitable for both beginners and those with some sailing or kayaking experience. For our Whitsun and summer projects, there is no need to book in advance: simply show up before the start of each session, fill in a registration form, pay your fee and join one of the sailing or kayaking groups. Youth open evening sessions Throughout the summer term and during September, the Centre is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for young people to sail and kayak. Session times are 5.30pm – 6.45pm and 7.00pm – 8.30pm. Visiting School and Youth Groups We welcome visiting youth groups and generally accept bookings for any number of sessions.
