By car: Take the A2016 Eastern Way from Woolwich. About half a mile after passing Belmarsh Prison, exit via the slip-road to the elevated roundabout. Turn right here and continue to another roundabout. Go completely around this to double back on yourself, then take the first slip road. Turn right at the end under the fly-over and park in the car-park beside the lake. By bus: Numerous buses serve Thamesmead from Greenwich, Woolwich, Bexleyheath, Erith and Dartford.
