Text Box: Southmere Boating Centre is Greenwich Borough's outdoor watersports centre. We offer a great range of watersports activities and are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, the Royal Yachting Association and the British Canoe Union. We cater for adults, young people, schools and youth groups and have been providing sailing, canoeing, kayaking and power-boat training for over 35 years. All our staff are nationally qualified in their sports and possess a wealth of experience as coaches and participants in watersports generally. Our teaching fleet includes over 100 kayaks and canoes, as well as around 40 sailing dinghies including toppers, bosuns, lasers, laser 2000s and topper magno sports.
